Welcome to Quarrydale United, a vibrant community football club dedicated to nurturing young talent and promoting enjoyment through the beautiful game. At the heart of our mission is the development of players’ technical skills in a fun, friendly, and safe environment.
We proudly support over 20 youth teams, ranging from mini-soccer for six and seven year olds to junior squads up to age 16. These teams compete in local leagues across Nottinghamshire. In addition, we have two veterans teams and run a popular Saturday Soccer School for children aged 4 to 13, held every Saturday from 9am to 12pm. For more information, visit our Facebook group: Quarrydale United Saturday Soccer School.
Our home ground is the Bentinck Miners Welfare in Kirkby in Ashfield, where we’ve been based for over a decade. As an FA Charter Standard Club, we ensure all coaches are fully qualified (minimum FA Level 1) and have passed the necessary safeguarding checks giving you peace of mind that your child is in safe hands.
Each season, we host social events for players, families, and volunteers, with individual teams organising their own team-building activities. We celebrate our players achievements during a special presentation weekend at the end of the season. Quarrydale United also proudly supports local charities and regularly hosts fundraising events for community causes.
We’re always looking for new players, both boys and girls, to join our teams, and we welcome volunteers with open arms. If you’re an enthusiastic coach or someone interested in helping develop girls football, we’d love to hear from you. Opportunities are available across all age groups.
